ATTENTION!

i made the walhalla newspaper along with travis.
no, i didn't hold up a liquor store. travis' grandma sent a piece in that we both visited his family from savannah, georgia. i thought that was nice/neat.

ALSO, one of my favorite shows is showcasing CLEVELAND, OHIO.

anthony bourdain: no reservations on the travel channel at 10pm tonight!

YOU BEST BELIEVE i will be watching.

friends in low places

shanda and stephen visited me yesterday. we went out to dinner and then down to river street for a little while. then to ross' for some late night down and dirty bargain shopping!

i miss shanda and wish she still lived in savannah. cause then i'd at least have friends, fun friends.

in other news, my car wouldn't start this morning and we're going to go buy a battery for it in hopes that that is all that is wrong with it. poor green goblin :(

green goblin update: PURRING AS USUAL! a new battery and my ride seems to be doing juuust fine. thank goodness.

bustin' out

so, it seems easier and easier for me to make friends wherever i go or just strike up a conversation. no more making sure not to make eye contact or being too scared to comment on anything. someone actually used the word "OUTGOING" to describe me the other day. much improvement has been made!!!

the picture is from north dakota when i was all alone at the bonfire and had to make friends or risk overhearing people say "WHO IS THAT WEIRD GIRL?!" haahha

CATCH ME A SHARK

last night around 11p.m. travis and i went SHARK FISHING with his friends.
it was so much fun. after walking down a path and being surrounded by the defeaning sound of frogs croaking, we got to the pitch black beach which seemed like it came right out of a horror movie. eventually our eyes adjusted and we could see the people around us a little bit better so it wasn't as creepy.

jamie was the first to catch a little fish.
travis was the first to catch a baby shark.
then mike caught a significantly larger shark.
then jamie caught a sting ray.
travis was excited to catch an even bigger one and HE DID.

(at least)4ft, 60lbs, bonnet head.
it was amazing!!!

the tsunami that hit my purse was NOT amazing excepted it made me scream "MY PURSE!!!" and scurry towards it while travis lept over it thinking it was some weird sea creature. thank god i didn't listen to him and bring the camera this time.
neither were the weirdos who came over saying "i would reeeaaally like to help release this shark into the waaater."

they fished probably until 4a.m.
now i'm covered in bug bites, but wow that was a lot of fun.
